Thats how frustrated that I’ve been with this whole house buying process. I feel like throwing a damn chair.
I thought the hardest obstacle was getting your offer accepted. Come to find out that is only the beginning of the stress. There is appraisal, negotiations, inspections, escrow and underwriting. In the end it will all be worth it, but this shit is SCRESSFUL lmao.
hehee, funny enough to break my ribs

I honestly didn’t know that home buying (especially here in California where it’s extremely competitive now) was so taxing and grueling. I’m rooting for you man, and like you said, it will be worth it in the end.

I really hope so. Its an emotional rollercoaster

Getting that crib is always a challenge. Whether its your needs or wants or the sellers/builders vision, it is hard to bring everything together to get what you want at the price you want it. Keep grinding.

They make it look so peachy on HGTV..

HGTV is so unrealistic. Those homes are pre approved before they step in the home. They face zero competition, no cash investors, no multiple counter offers, no resistance from the seller. Totally unrealistic. In reality you have to make split second decisions. Aww damn Kelley, you got me hyped up. I could do a whole blog post or podcast about this. Lol.

Bruuuuuh, I already know alladat! I can’t even watch certain shows because it’s so scripted. “Ooh yea, Rochelle, you know that’s $100 over our budget.” *Heavy sigh* Everyone says the same thing.
I saw my parents go through it twice. Sucks when you find a home that you’ve looked at 100x, mapped out where you’re gonna put what and the seller decides to stay or you get outbid or come to find you need all new plumbing. This list of madness is lengthy. Best of luck!

😂😂😂😂. Omg I laughed soooo hard. The corniness on the show is crazy. I’m not gonna lie, I thought that’s how home buying went until I kept missing out on homes that I spent too much time thinking about. I have some good news I will announce later on. Thanks for spreading those positive melanated vibes. 💯✊

It always does, I’m watching “undercover boss” as we speak, and it is obvious that the employees know the jig. Lol

Lmfao @ both sentiments. HGTV and Undercover Boss. Like there’s a camera following a new hire around?? Really corporate America. I stopped watching when a CEO from a winery out here in NAPA said “I didn’t realize there would be a language barrier with the workers who pick the grapes!” Really??

Lmfao! The plausible deniability is through the roof on that show. Lol

I think I’ll sign my lease for another year 😀 Hang in there, Eddie … this too shall pass. Hopefully with all your furniture, limbs and dishes intact. 🙂

I remember when me and my husband brought our first house…. back in 2001. I was ready to say the hell with it all! The end result is truly the best, but damn it will really push you to your limit. Good luck! 😉
